Co-Founder/Owner of Lumi Aesthetics

Meet Kelly, a south hills Pittsburgh native, who lives in Peters Township with her husband and 3 daughters. She graduated with her baccalaureate degree in nursing from The University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation she worked at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She then decided to further her education and received her Masters in Nurse Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh. Kelly has 23 years of nursing experience, 18 of them being a Nurse Anesthetist.

With both her pediatric and extensive anesthesia experience, this brings an unparalleled understanding of direct patient care and safety to her aesthetic practice. Kelly is passionate about helping clients feel confident and rejuvenated which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She is dedicated to enhancing natural beauty and promoting self confidence, creating a transformative journey that extends far beyond the surface.

Continuing education is a passion for Kelly, which led her to dive into the medical aspect of aesthetics. After training at the Beautiphi Academy with her friend and fellow CRNA, Jessica Simonette, Lumi Aesthetics was born. Their extensive technical knowledge, exceptional communication skills and ability to educate patients about the procedures they undergo, guides them to build lasting relationships with their patients based on trust and understanding. This empowers each patient to make informed decisions along their aesthetic journey. By combining her anesthesia expertise with her artistic eye and attention to detail, she will deliver an exceptional outcome and positive experience for every patient.

Jessica embarked on her nursing journey at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2008. Post graduation, she attended the New Graduate Residency Program at UCLA Medical Center in California while working in the Cardiac/Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. After completing the residency program, she returned to her roots in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to continue her critical care journey at UPMC Shadyside in the CICU/MICU.

Jessica’s experience taking care of critically ill patients fostered her attention to detail and her desire to help patients through their most vulnerable moments. Naturally, this desire lead her down a path to discover the world of anesthesia. She went on to graduate with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2014 from the #1 ranked Nurse Anesthesia School in the country: the University of Pittsburgh. She currently works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Washington Hospital in Washington, PA.

As the mother of 4 beautiful children, Jessica began seeking opportunities to cultivate her creativity, attention to detail, and love of anatomy while providing more schedule flexibility to prioritize family time. Aesthetics was the natural choice. She completed her certification in aesthetics at Beautiphi Academy in 2022 and added “business owner” to her repertoire, launching Lumi Aesthetics shortly thereafter with friend and former co-worker, Kelly Morreale.

Her calm and approachable demeanor means you’ll work hand-in-hand to make your aesthetic dreams a reality! Her goal is always to achieve a refined and refreshed version of YOU.

Melissa is a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with over a decade of nursing experience. Her history of nursing includes med-surg and CardioThoracic ICU. She then transferred to a procedural area to continue her education. She graduated with honors from Walden University earning her MSN-FNP degree. She holds her FNP-C through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

She is a traveling and physical fitness enthusiast. She loves going to new places and experiencing new cultures and activities. Her fitness journey started by playing soccer and played through college. Now, her workout resume includes 10k runs and half marathons along with a certified yoga instructor.

When she's not traveling or working out, she enjoys spending time with her two loyal companions, Angel and Gunner, her beloved dogs. Her dogs hold a special place in her life, bringing joy and and comfort to her daily routine. From long walks, to playing in the yard and cuddling on the couch, she cherishes those moments with her loyal canines.

Melissa's dedication to beauty, health, and well-being made it an easy decision to join Lumi Aesthetics team.
